Kingston UCU Ballot 2025: Key Info

Kingston UCU members are being balloted on local action in response to the university’s failure to avoid compulsory redundancies and the termination of employment of one or more workers. Our University’s dereliction of consultation, including their unilateral exit from ACAS collective conciliation demands an industrial response.

This will allow us to protect jobs, preserve the quality of education and research, and secure a sustainable future for Kingston University.

The ballot will run Tuesday 20th May to Tuesday 17th June.

If you need to update your membership details, or check which address your ballot paper has been sent to, visit My UCU or phone 0333 207 0719.

See here for details of how to cast your vote and why it is so important (50% of the membership must vote for it to count).

See here for more information about what the dispute is about and how the poor choices of our Senior Leadership Team have been affecting staff at Kingston. We all deserve better. Vote YES in the upcoming ballot to begin rebuilding this University, with the staff and students at its heart.
